Mia Thermopolis is the main protagonist of The Princess Diaries and its sequel The Princess Diaries two: Royal Engagement. She is of royalty on her divorced father'southward side. She is a 15-yr-former (21 in the sequel) 10th grader from a private schoolhouse. She lives with her true cat and her divorced female parent. Two months later her parents divorced, her begetter died. This is leaving Mia to have her grandmother's place as queen.

She was portrayed by Anne Hathaway, who also played Ella of Frell in Ella Enchanted, Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, Red Puckett in Hoodwinked, Jewel in the Rio films and White Queen in Alice and Wonderland.

Mia Thermopolis is a 15-year-old private school pupil who lives with her female parent, Helen, and her cat, Fat Louie, in a renovated San Francisco firehouse. Her father, Philippe Renaldi (who had divorced her mother years ago merely notwithstanding kept in affect with Mia) died two months before in a car crash. Although she is engaged to Andrew, Nicholas is flirting with Mia. At start he does it considering his uncle who is Viscount Mabrey tells him too, but presently realizes he likes her. The two kiss at The garden political party and Mia'south foot pops. She then runs abroad but Nicholas runs after and they autumn into a fountain. Mia is later attempting to shoot arrows but doesn't exercise information technology right. Nicholas comes by whistling and Mia asks lily to distract Andrew so that she could talk to Nicholas.
